Applications invited for the position of Associate Vice-President, Teaching & Learning

Rhonda Lenton, vice-president academic & provost, has issued the following invitation to University community members:

Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to invite applications or expressions of interest for the position of Associate Vice-President, Teaching and Learning (AVP T&L), in the Office of the Vice-President Academic & Provost. The search is internal to York.

Click here for a brief description of the responsibilities associated with the portfolio. Given the importance attached to teaching and learning, engagement, and the student experience in both the White Paper and the University Academic Plan, the AVP T&L will be a key member of our leadership team and play a critical role in advancing our strategic academic priorities. The appointment will be for a three-year term, commencing July 1, 2016, and carries a full teaching release.

I would welcome expressions of interest, queries, as well as applications for the position. Please note that the deadline for applications is Friday, April 8 and the selection committee within my office will begin consideration of potential candidates after that date.
