Academic Planning in 2015-2016: Towards an Institutional Integrated Resource Plan for York is an open forum sponsored by the Senate of York University’s Academic Policy, Planning and Research Committee, the Vice-President Academic and Provost, and the Vice-President Finance and Administration.

The forum will take place Thursday, Sept. 17, from 9:30am to 12pm in the Founders Assembly Hall, 152 Founders College, Keele campus.

All members of the University community are invited to attend and participate in an important discussion of academic planning priorities and processes in 2015-16 with an emphasis on the Institutional Integrated Resource Plan (IIRP) developed by the Provost and the Vice-President Finance and Administration.

A draft IIRP was released in June and, following consultations over the past months and at this forum, will be brought to Senate for endorsement in September.

This forum offers a unique opportunity for a timely, in-depth exploration of academic planning challenges and opportunities pivoting around initiatives designed to advance University Academic Plan (UAP) 2010-15 objectives and other goals (the forum also coincides with the launch of the UAP renewal process).

The session will be moderated by Professor Rebecca Pillai Riddell, chair of Senate’s Academic Policy, Planning and Research Committee.

Please watch for additional announcements concerning the IIRP, which will be revised and posted prior to the forum. The June draft is accessible on the IIRP webpage on YU Link. For additional information,  contact Robert Everett of the University Secretariat at beverett@yorku.ca.
