Due to necessary work related to watermain alterations, a portion of Ian Macdonald Boulevard, just north of The Pond Road, will be closed from 7am on Thursday, Oct. 23, until end of day Sunday, Oct. 26.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, the southbound lane will be closed with alternating direction control.
On Friday, Oct. 24, the northbound lane will be closed with alternating direction control.
In case of unfavourable soil or weather conditions, full closure of Ian Macdonald Boulevard may be required on Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26. If so, the vehicular traffic will be redirected north to Fine Arts Road via James Gillies Street and Seneca Lane. Emergency and service vehicle access will be made available via James Gillies Street and Fine Arts Road.
Access to buildings in the area will not be impacted by this closure. When travelling throughout the construction zone, please watch for and obey all traffic signs and traffic control personnel.
