Associate Professor Karen Bridget Murray was an invited speaker at a juried workshop at King’s College in London, England. Murray’s talk was part of a two-day interdisciplinary workshop aimed at building an international research network that focuses on the ways that race and biomedicine are mobilized beyond the lab in the 21st century.
Professor Emeritus of theatre Don Rubin, an original faculty member of York University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, hosted an international conference for the Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship at the world-famous Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, Conn. this past fall.
Twelve students from across the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies were recognized as winners of the annual prize during an event on Nov. 27. The students were honored for their outstanding work by Associate Dean (Students) Peter Avery during a recognition ceremony.
Collette Murray has been awarded the 2019 Community Arts Award by Toronto Arts Foundation’s Neighbourhood Arts Network.
