If you want to avoid a traffic headache this weekend, you should take note of the following road closures.
The south bound lane of The Pond Road, just south of Shoreham Road, will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 8am to 4pm to accommodate construction on the new Tennis Canada project. Traffic will not be able to proceed south on Pond Road beyond Shoreham Road. Drivers will be able to access the campus from Shoreham Road, but will only be able to travel north. The contractors will provide signs and take necessary safety precautions.
Fine Arts Road will also be closed on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 7am to 4pm because of construction work on the new Accolade project (formerly known as the General Academic Buildings). Only emergency vehicles will be able to access destinations on Fine Arts Road and Atkinson Road using the service road on the east side of the Technology Enhanced Learning Building. Construction staff will be present for the duration of the interruption to provide direction to traffic.
