Throughout February, York University’s Parking Services and sustainability-minded organization Smart Commute are encouraging community members to commute by walking, rolling, sharing a ride, taking transit or eliminating their commute altogether by working remotely.
Winter Commute Month also includes a contest. With the Smart Commute app, participants are encouraged to take a sustainable mode of transportation and log it. Each logged trip counts as an entry to win a $100 e-gift card.

For those wanting to learn more about sustainable commuting, the Parking Services team will be tabling in Vari Hall on Feb. 15 from 10 a.m, to 1 p.m.
