In his spare time, Mr. Christie gave back to the community by transforming himself into Santa to bring happiness to children in his area. He was also an avid lover of music and played the drums in a band called the “Daniel Band,” according to his colleagues in Facilities Services.

Former co-worker Domenic Feliciani adds, “Stu and I worked together at York University for many years. He was my helper. My ‘little buddy.’ A good friend and co-worker and liked by everyone in our zone. Whenever I was feeling down, Stu would always give me a big hug to make me feel better. I will always remember him. Rest in Peace my ‘little buddy.’”
