As international mobility is limited, finding new ways to engage globally is vital. York University Faculties and faculty members are invited to join the Globally Networked Learning (GNL) team and York International for the webinar launch of the GNL Project 2020-21 on July 14.
Learn how GNL can connect two or more classrooms from across the globe to participate in, and collaborate on, cross-cultural discussions, joint lectures over multiple time zones, a shared assignment or collaborative research projects (among others), through innovative pedagogies and the use of online communication and information technologies.
Aside from addressing the immediate challenges posed by COVID-19, GNL helps students to build their global outlook and fluency though curricula internationalization and offering new models of global learning and mobility.
Attend the webinar on July 14 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to find out more about:
- What and why GNL?
- Successful experiences
- Available support services and funding awards
