York International invites faculty, staff, and students to join in, kick back, relax and have some fun. The event will take place on Zoom at two times, the first is set for 8 a.m. and the second planned for 6 p.m. (ET), so that no matter where you are in the world, you can join in and meet others online.

This two-hour fun-filled party is a great way take a break at this halfway point in the summer term and get to know the York Community. Activities include learning Tik-Tok dances, karaoke, making fun summer recipes to cool down with, and some friendly competitive games. Everyone is encouraged to dress up and decorate their space to match the celebratory mood.

And just like the Virtual Spring Party, this event will serve as a showcase of the enthusiasm, spirit and energy York University has to offer. It also serves to acknowledge and congratulate York students for things they have done during the COVID-19 pandemic, whether they are on the front lines, giving back to their community or helping to flatten the curve by staying home.

Updates regarding the event and information on how to attend can be found on the event website.

Organizers look forward to seeing you all on June 19. Happy Summer Solstice!
