Bookstore’s textbook and course materials training sessions will take place March 24

The York University Bookstore is hosting its 14th annual textbook and course kit training session, March 24. The session is recommended for new staff and as a refresher for veteran staff. The Bookstore’s textbook and course kit staff will be on hand before and after the presentations to address questions, concerns and ideas.

The location is 280A York Lanes and participants can choose from one of two sessions. The morning session will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon session will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Each one hour session includes information, training, time for a Q-and-A and discussion. Light refreshments will be served and information kits will be available for participants to take with them.

To submit and RSVP for this session, contact Michael Legris by email at mlegris@yorku.ca or call ext. 22078. (Submitting an RSVP will help the Bookstore staff ensure there are enough information kits, seating and refreshments. Last minute attendees are welcome as are guests and colleagues.)

The Bookstore offers the same training by request and can accommodate individuals or groups that can’t make it to the sessions, or wish to discuss their department or individual requirements. The sessions will be tailored to each request and held in the faculty.
