This year’s theme focused on leveraging technology and digital innovation to make businesses, services and products better. The competition was sponsored by CIBC and Canadian Tire.

Students were challenged to address current issues facing these companies and present their recommendations to a panel of their executives.

“What was most exciting was to see the level of progress our case team members have all made in such a short time,” said marketing Professor Joe Fayt. “They are all first-year students who just started the MBA program in September. We are grateful to the team from DeGroote who did such an extraordinary job creating a challenging and interesting competition.”

The competition gave students an opportunity to compete with the best and brightest minds from other MBA programs across the country.
