Learn more about a career with the RCMP on Feb. 15 at Lunch Talk event

York University’s upcoming McLaughlin College Lunch Talk series presentation will allow participants to learn about a career as a police officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

“Royal Canadian Mounted Police: Careers in Law Enforcement” takes place on Feb. 15 from noon to 2pm in the Senior Common Room, 140 McLaughlin College. The event will feature guest speaker RCMP Constable Frank Di Biase, who recently joined the Ontario Division’s Recruiting section.

RCMP McLaughlin Lunch Talk

This is an exciting time for students interested in this career field, as the RCMP is in the midst of hiring 4,000 officers over the next three years. This division of the law offers a challenging and exciting career to those interested in making a difference in their communities and their country.

The presentation will be a great chance to get information about this line of work. It is co-hosted by the Office of the Head of McLaughlin College and the Criminology Society at York.

Everyone is welcome, and lunch will be provided.
