York, Ryerson and UofT welcome students from abroad

York University, Ryerson University and University of Toronto are jointly organizing the What Now? 2017 Re-entry Conference on Sept. 24 at the Kerr Hall of Ryerson University Downtown.

The conference is an opportunity for Ontario’s three largest universities to celebrate education abroad and the students who went abroad in 2016-17. It will be a forum for students to reflect on their international experience and discuss reverse culture shock.

The conference will bring together students, alumni, international education and career experts. While focusing on the aspects of reverse culture shock, experts will discuss the benefits of studying or working abroad for the students’ academic and future careers.

David Common, York alumnus, CBC host and correspondent, and former exchange student at Stockholm University (Sweden), will be the keynote speaker.
