Public lecture examines Fair Trade in Africa

Fair Trade in Africa is the topic of discussion at a special public lecture on Sept. 10 from 2:30 to 4:30pm presented by the Business and Society Program in the Department of Social Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies. The talk will take place in Room 701 South Ross Building on the Keele campus

Chief Adam Tampuri, will be speaking at the event on the challenges and opportunities for the promotion of sustainable development. Tampuri has been actively involved in the fair trade movement in Ghana for many years. As a member of Fair Trade International, he campaigns for farmers to adapt to the pressing challenges they face as a result of climate change occurring globally.
