Start the new school year off right by getting fit with the Fit 4 Life Employee Program at the Student Centre.

Classes will run from Sept. 8 to Dec. 15, 12:10 to 1pm, in Room 307 of the Student Centre. (No class Oct. 13.)

Sign up for circuit on Mondays and boot camp classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The program offers affordable rates, personalized instruction by the qualified and professional staff of York Recreation and a convenient lunch-time schedule.

Circuit: This fun and efficient full-body workout gets your body moving, heart pumping and muscles firing by combining cardiovascular conditioning with weight training intervals. All levels are accommodated.

Boot camp: A challenging, action-packed group fitness workout that makes use of everyday three-dimensional, functional movements. This fun and high-energy session will give you an incredible cardiovascular workout while recruiting all the muscles and nerves of the body through various training methods, including strength and power exercises, interval training, agility drills and movements that challenge your balance and coordination.

Register online by visiting the York Lions web page and clicking on the “Rec York Online” box. Registration is also available through Client Services at the Tait McKenzie Centre.
