Due to the commissioning of new energy-efficient chiller equipment at the Central Utilities Building (CUB), Albany Road between Chimney Stack Road and the Albany Road Parking Lot (see map below) will be blocked by barriers on Wednesday, July 23, between 8am and 3pm. This work is required to test the equipment for the CUB.
How will this impact the York community?
- To access the parking lot, pedestrians and cars must take Severn Road around the CUB.
- Intermittent noise in the immediate area and at Harry Sherman Crowe Residence can be expected.
- Additional bulletins will be distributed if the impact on the campus or the status of the project changes.
When travelling throughout the construction zone, please watch for and obey all traffic signs and traffic control personnel for your safety and convenience.
