The Standard First Aid and CPR C certification course will be offered June 21 to 22, from 9am to 6pm, at 320 Bethune College, Keele campus. The cost of the course is $100.
The 16-hour Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid. Successful candidates receive both Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification. Standard First Aid is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
The Emergency First Aid and CPR-B certification course will also be offered on Aug. 24, from 9am to 6pm, at 320 Bethune College, Keele campus. The cost of the course is $75. The eight-hour Lifesaving Society Emergency First Aid course provides general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries.
