Passings: Angelo Trolio, night shift plumber, is remembered as a kind and generous man

Angelo Trolio, who had a successful career at York University as a night shift maintenance plumber in Campus Services and Business Operations, died suddenly on Wednesday, June 11. Mr. Trolio was admired and respected by his colleagues in the evening and day shifts.

Over the course of his career, his kindness and work ethic touched many individuals at the University. He was a quiet and well-meaning individual who was always quick to say “Good day!” and assist others. Those who knew him well knew he enjoyed camping with his family and golfing when he had the time.

He will be dearly missed by his four children, his loving wife and all of his York colleagues.

Visitation will take place Monday, June 16, from 5 to 9pm, at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre, 8003 Weston Road in Woodbridge, Ont.

A funeral service for Mr. Trolio will take place on Tuesday, June 17, starting at 11am, at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 300 Ansley Grove in Woodbridge.
