Electrical service interruptions March 13, 15 and 25

To perform building substation repairs and campus electrical changes, the following buildings will experience a three-minute power interruption on Thursday, March 13, between the hours of 6:30 and 8am:

  • Leonard Lumbers Building;
  • Behavioural Science Building;
  • Stedman Lecture Halls;
  • York Lanes;
  • Harry S. Crowe Complex;

In addition, there will be an electrical power shutdown at the Scott Library building on Saturday, March 15, from 6 to 10am. The electrical shutdown will affect the entire electrical supply to the building, however, some equipment will be supported by the emergency generator (e.g. elevators, lighting, life safety fixtures).

To restore buildings to their normal electrical feeder upon completion of the above, a second three-minute power interruption will occur on Tuesday, March 25, between the hours of 6:30 and 8am at the following buildings:

  • Leonard Lumbers Building;
  • Behavioural Science Building;
  • Stedman Lecture Halls;
  • York Lanes;
  • Harry S. Crowe Complex; and
  • Scott Library.
