Got #YUSpirit? Show it on Nov. 27 at Red & White Day!

York Lions mascot

President & Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri has issued this invitation to the York community:

Are you ready to show your York U spirit? To celebrate York pride and achievement?

Then join us for Red & White Day on Wednesday, Nov. 27. As part of Spirit Week, the York community is invited to participate in Red & White Day festivities, where we will celebrate and recognize our students, faculty and staff, and all you do to keep York strong.

As a university with a community spirit that is second to none, let’s show the world our York pride by wearing red, white or York gear on Nov. 27. This is a time to promote school spirit, to come together as a community and make memories to cherish for a lifetime.

There will be free York swag, a spirit rally, student breakfast hosted by YFS, photo competitions, food trucks, mascots and much more!

The York University Bookstores (Keele and Glendon campuses) will be selling all regular-priced red and white giftware and clothing at 25 per cent off and the Pride Shop in Tait McKenzie will have selected items at 10 per cent off.

For the full schedule of events, visit the Red & White Day website. If you have any questions, e-mail redwhite@yorku.ca.

I look forward to seeing all of you on Red & White Day!
