Talk looks at how California has led way in energy efficiency

How has California led the way in energy efficiency?  Alan Meier of the Energy Efficiency Center at the University of California, Davis, will talk about California’s leadership role at the next Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI) seminar.

“California Experience: Energy Efficiency”, part of the SEI Seminar Series, will take place Wednesday, March 6, from noon to 2pm, at 140 Health, Nursing & Environmental Studies Building, Keele campus. Alan Meier

Meier, a senior scientist in the Building Technology and Urban Systems Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, will deliver a presentation about the leadership role California has taken over the past 20 years with regards to energy efficiency, including policy, behaviour, cars and the disclosure of energy. A Q&A session will follow the talk.

He is also a faculty researcher and associate director of curriculum with the Energy Efficiency Center at the University of California, Davis, where he teaches courses.
