The Pond Road lane restrictions begin Feb. 11

Beginning at 9am on Monday, Feb. 11, The Pond Road will be restricted to one lane between Keele Street and James Gillies Street for sanitary sewer installation work. To accommodate this project, one lane will be used for both directions of traffic. Traffic signal devices will be installed to direct traffic.

This lane restriction is anticipated to last for approximately three weeks or until Sunday, March 3.

Traffic control personnel will help ensure safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles on The Pond Road during peak times. Due to the nature of the work, motorists and transit users may experience traffic delays.

The sidewalk on the south side of The Pond Road will remain open, but the sidewalk on the north side will be closed for the duration of the lane restrictions. Pedestrians are urged to use the sidewalk on the south side of The Pond Road during this time.
