The Barbados Canadian Friendship Scholarship is available to a full-time masters-level student at York University whose area of research is related to Barbados or the Barbadian-Canadian community.
There is one scholarship available valued at $5,000 – this a one-time award.
Students are invited to apply by submitting:
- a statement (no more than three pages) outlining their areas of research and the importance of this research to Barbados and/or the Barbadian-Canadian community.
Students should also submit:
- a sample of their research;
- transcripts;
- and two letters of reference.
Applications are to be directed to the Centre for Research on Latin America & the Caribbean (CERLAC) at York University, 8th Floor, York Research Tower, Keele campus, no later than Feb. 25.
