Call for proposals: Fourth annual Inclusion Day conference

York’s Centre for Human Rights is inviting submissions for the fourth annual Inclusion Day conference  – Creating for Inclusion – taking place Jan. 31, 2013.

Submissions should focus on using creative ways, mediums and expressions to improve inclusion in any of the following areas:

  • Race and racialization
  • Gender expression and expectations
  • (dis)Abilities
  • Sexual orientation
  • Religion
  • Intersectional identities

Breakout sessions will engage attendees on a variety of inclusivity and social justice topics through creative means under the 2013 theme Creating for Inclusion.

Proposals must be submitted by e-mail to as a .doc, .rtf or .pdf attachment no later than Thursday Nov. 29.
