Come and join Learning & Organizational Development for a week-long series of events that showcase just some of the many great learning opportunities that are available for York employees.

There will be a variety of courses showcased during Learn at Work Week. One-hour presentations are planned for the week on these courses:

  • Embracing Change and Transitions
  • York University Sustainability Initiatives
  • Building and Strengthening the York University Brand
  • Managing Your Stress
  • Mental Health Awareness for All
  • Celebration of Learning Event

Celebration of Learning Event

Have you completed a degree, diploma or certificate program from a registered postsecondary institution over the past year?

On Friday, Oct. 5 as part of the University’s inaugural Learn at Work Week, Learning & Organizational Development will host a “Celebration of Learning” reception to celebrate your academic accomplishments. If you have completed a degree, diploma or certificate from a registered post secondary institution during the past year (fall 2011 to summer 2012), or one of your staff has done so, complete the online application form and attach a record of achievement.

“The Learning and Organizational Development team believes strongly that these are indeed very important accomplishments and should not go unnoticed,” says Suzanne Killick, director, Learning & Organizational Development.
