Last June, Senate approved revisions to the Senate Policy on Sessional Dates and the Scheduling of Examinations, which included the following changes:
- A reduction in the number of co-curricular weekdays from four to three in the Fall term;
- The scheduling of those days after a minimum of six (6) full weeks of instruction have been completed;
- Observing the co-curricular days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (and the weekend following) to help balance the Fall term, which will begin on the Wednesday following Labour Day.
This is a reminder that the changes to the sessional dates take effect in the upcoming FW2012-2013 academic year, and will be observed on:

Thursday Nov. 1, 2012
Friday Nov. 2, 2012
Saturday Nov. 3, 2012
Sunday Nov. 4, 2012
