Forums offer chance to meet candidates for McLaughlin College master

The search committee for the new master for McLaughlin College invites members of the University community to attend one or both of two open forums to meet the candidates for the position of master of McLaughlin College.

Professor James Sheptycki of the Department of Social Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS), and Professor Lorne Foster of the School of Public Policy & Administration, LA&PS,  will speak individually about their candidacy and plans for the position of master.

The open forum for Professor James Sheptycki will be held Tuesday, March 27, from 11am to 12pm, in the Senate Chamber, N940 Ross Building.

The open forum for Professor Lorne Foster will take place Thursday, March 29, from 3 to 4pm, in the McLaughlin Senior Common Room, 140 McLaughlin College.

Following the open forums, community members are invited to e-mail their comments regarding the candidates to Professor Stanley Tweyman, master of Vanier College and chair of the search committee, at stweyman@yorku.ca.
