Donations from York faculty, staff and retirees are very important to the University. Now is the time to show your support by making a gift to the University’s 2012 Annual Fund.

In a letter sent to the York community on Feb. 13,  York University President & Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri stressed that the heartfelt contributions – both professional service and financial support – from the York family have made a great impact at York University.

York is known for its dynamic academic community, the stellar reputation of its faculties, its distinct collaborative approach to education and the energy of being 52 years young. The University will build on these strengths and is on the way to becoming Canada’s leading interdisciplinary teaching and research university.

By donating to this year’s Annual Fund, you will keep York University moving forward on this path. Whether your gift is designated to fund critical research or to help a student through an award or bursary, be assured that your support is much needed and greatly appreciated. You can also designate your gift towards any other area that is meaningful to you.

One-time and monthly giving options are available, and can be made on your credit card, or for York employees, through payroll deductions. Donations can also be made securely online at Support York 2012 or by calling the Division of Advancement at 416-650-8210.
