The many homes of the Archives of Ontario featured on Rogers TV

The different homes of the Archives of Ontario are being profiled in an episode of the program “Structures” airing today at 12pm on Rogers Television, cable 10 in Toronto, cable 63 in Scarborough and cable 510 in high definition. The show will be re-broadcast on Friday, July 1 at 2pm.

Host Heather Seaman examines the creation of the original archives in 1903 and showcases its many transformations, including its homes in the Ontario Legislative Building, Whitney Tower, The Archives & Canadiana Building and the new facility on York’s Keele campus.

Each episode of “Structures” is an adventure through Toronto’s neighbourhoods, streets, landmarks and personalities that have shaped the city’s history and architecture.

For viewers outside of Toronto with Rogers TV, the episode should be available on Rogers On Demand Online in the next few weeks.
