It’s Clean Air Commute week: You could win if you bike, carpool, take transit

York University is once again participating in Pollution Probe’s 2011 Clean Air Commute, running all this week until June 19.

Everyone is encouraged to commute to work in a cleaner way, such as biking, walking, taking public transit, driving a hybrid, carpooling or even just giving your car a tune-up.

Visit the Clean Air Commute website to create an account for your online commuter log to record how you get to work during Clean Air Commute week. Even if you only participate for one day this week, fill out an online commuter log to be eligible to win a prize.

At the end of 2011 Clean Air Commute, all eligible participants with a commuter log will be entered to win one of three prizes:

  • A seven-day adventure trip to Machu Picchu, Peru from Intrepid Travel.
  • One of seven Raleigh mountain bikes.
  • A Bobby Hull autographed hockey stick.

Also up for grabs is a mountain bike through a workplace draw.
