Check out the spook-tacular, funny and creative pumpkins carved by staff in York’s University Information Technology (UIT) unit in support of the United Way.
The UIT annual Pumpkin Carving Contest will take place Thursday, Oct. 28, from noon to 2pm at the Steacie Science & Engineering Building.
Everyone is invited to come and view the clever creations. However, if you buy a ballot for $2 or three ballots for $5, you can vote for your favorite pumpkin and have a chance to win prizes, as well as the prize pumpkins.
All proceeds will go toward supporting York’s 2010 United Way Campaign.
