Debbie Jamieson re-nominated to the York Board of Governors

As a result of an election at large, York University staff member Debbie Jamieson has been re-nominated by full-time non-academic employees for membership on the Board of Governors.

Several candidates received substantial support and the final tally resulted in a win for Jamieson. After confirmation by the board, she will begin serving an additional two-year term effective July 1.

Jamieson is a graduate program assistant in the School of Human Resource Management in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. She has been employed at York University for 36 years.

She will join Billy Gyamfi, who was appointed last year as the other non-academic employee on the board.
