Nothing sour about upcoming Lime Connect recruiting and networking event

Lime Connect Canada is a career-focused organization that caters to talented students with disabilities. On Monday, Jan. 11, Lime Connect Canada will be hosting a special networking and recruiting event for students with disabilities. The event, which is co-sponsored by the York University Career Centre, Lime Connect Canada, York’s Learning Disability Services and the Schulich School of Business Career Development Centre, will take place from 6 to 8pm on Monday evening in the Underground restaurant in York’s Student Centre.

The event offers an opportunity for students with disabilities to connect with top companies to learn more about their organizations and positions. BMO Financial Group, IBM, PepsiCo and TD Securities are recruiting York University students with disabilities for 2010 internship, co-op and summer opportunities. For specific job descriptions, more information and to RSVP, students interested in attending this event should drop by the Lime Connect Web site.
