UIT to host presentation on research computing

As part of York University’s first Research Month, University Information Technology (UIT) will host a presentation on computing resources available to researchers.

The event will take place Nov. 23, from 9am to noon, in the York Research Tower’s fifth floor conference room.

There will be presentations from UIT, the Ontario Research & Innovation Optical Network (ORION), the Shared Hierarchical Academic Research Computing Network (SHARCNET) and Advanced Broadband Enabled Learning (ABEL) on services to support research initiatives.
