York is one of 12 universities participating in a live Webcast of a lecture tomorrow by Italian medievalist Umberto Eco (right). Best known as the author of The Name of the Rose, Eco will give a lecture, “An Illustrated Presentation on the History of Beauty and Ugliness”, from 5:30 to 8pm that will be Webcast live from the University of Toronto, Mississauga.
Eco will be introduced by Mauro Buccheri, Master of Founders College.
The lecture will be shown at 5:30pm Oct. 8 in the Nat Taylor Cinema, N121 Ross Building.
