A funeral service will be held today for Mr. John Lang, a contract faculty member in the Division of Humanities in York’s Faculty of Arts. Lang died on Monday, July 23.
A popular instructor, Lang taught several foundation courses in humanities including The Enlightenment and Human Understanding with Professor Stanley Tweyman, and Law & Morality with Professor Shirley Katz.
Friends and colleagues will be received at the Trull Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge St. at Alexander Blvd., (five blocks south of Lawrence Subway Station on the west side of Yonge St.), in Toronto. The service will begin at 11:30am and will be held in the chapel of the funeral home.
