Discount tickets and a free bus ride available for OUA hoops final

Sport York has announced a special discounted rate for York students planning to attend the Ontario University Athletics Women’s Basketball Championship on Sunday, March 4, at 8pm between the sixth-ranked York Lions and the third-ranked McMaster Marauders in Hamilton.

York students who purchase their tickets before 4pm on Friday, March 2, will receive the discounted price of $5 – that’s a savings of $3 off McMaster’s general price for students on game day. York students who purchase tickets in advance will also be seated in the Lions fan section at McMaster’s Burridge Gym.

To sign-up for the fan buses and/or purchase advanced tickets, York students should visit the Customer Service Desk at the Tait McKenzie Centre before 4pm on Friday, March 2.

York staff, faculty, alumni and friends are also encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. Adult tickets for the 2007 OUA Women’s Basketball Championship are $10, while children 10 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
