York University issued the following statement yesterday:
There was an incident at Vanier Residence at York University at about 2:40pm Sept. 5. It appears to have been a domestic dispute between two students; one male, one female. Both students suffered stab wounds and were taken to hospital. It is a tragic and isolated event between these two individuals and did not involve any other students.
