On Saturday, Jan. 22, Sport York will host its second annual York Appreciation Basketball Doubleheader. All York faculty, staff and alumni get in free, and there will be plenty of fun and excitement for the whole family.
The night includes two great games as the Lions host the Queen’s Golden Gaels in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) men’s and women’s basketball action. Both games take place at the Tait Mackenzie Centre on York’s Keele Campus; the women’s game tips-off at 6pm, while the men follow at 8pm.

Before each game and at half-time, there will be contests, give-aways and participation events to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Prizes include tickets to the Tennis Canada 2005 Rogers Cup, Telus Cellular merchandise, York University clothing and much more.
