Jessie-May Rowntree has been appointed to the position of director, account services, within the Division of Communications. She will report directly to Richard Fisher, chief communications officer, and will begin her new portfolio on Jan. 2, 2003.
As you know, Rowntree has played an instrumental role both as director of communications and in facilitating the introduction of York’s new identity and communications structure. In her new role, she will continue to spearhead innovation, as leader of the newly formed account services team comprised of account directors who will partner with the York community to produce cutting-edge communications.
Her new responsibilities will include serving as the point person for all incoming work, providing recommendations for pairing of administrative units/faculties and communications agencies, and providing account services to key partners within the community.
Rowntree’s new portfolio is integral to the success of York’s new image-building program, and her contribution and leadership will be invaluable.
