The advance guard of this year”s York University United Way Campaign donned red and headed off on the ‘Can”t you see it”s green?’ bus in mid October. The ebullient group included staff and students who went to a CFTO Salute to United Way taping at the downtown headquarters to promote York and the 2002 United Way Campaign.
The York United Way Salute will be aired on the 6 o”clock news one evening in November. Stay tuned!
The 2002 United Way Campaign begins on Nov. 5 and ends on Nov. 27. Now it”s your turn to get into the United Way spirit. Come and join campaign team members at the annual pancake breakfast on Tuesday, Nov.5, which will kick off the campaign at York. Senior administrators are flipping flapjacks for fun at the Central Square Cafeteria, from 8- 10am. You can share the pancakes and the fun for only $2! Watch for more information soon….
