In a message to the York University community, President and Vice-Chancellor Rhonda L. Lenton, and Sheila Cote-Meek, vice-president, Equity, People and Culture, share “Addressing Anti-Black Racism: A Framework on Black Inclusion” and the accompanying “Draft Action Plan on Black Inclusion: For Further Consultation.” Both documents will guide the University’s approach to combatting anti-Black racism, both on and off York’s campuses.

A new paper in the journal “Academy of Management Review” explores how companies use authenticity – a sneak peek into the real life of others – and transgression – viewing the forbidden – to generate a distinctive experience for audiences. The paper was authored by Schulich Professor Maxim Voronov and three Schulich alumni.
Faculty of Health Associate Professor Parissa Safai has been appointed as Special Advisor to the President for Academic Continuity Planning and COVID-19 Response. She will lead a small, dedicated team of staff members who will focus on managing the University’s response to COVID in 2021.
