The York University community is invited to attend an information session on Jan. 29 about a free photography workshop series hosted by B.D. Colen, the 2019-20 York Science Communicator in Residence. The information session will provide an overview of what to expect in the workshop series and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
New research from the Faculty of Science suggests that influencing male mosquitoes’ reproductive capacity may, one day, hold the key to improved pest control strategies. Impeding some of the world’s most deadly viruses, spread by mosquitoes, could possibly be within reach, this research suggests.
