York University will be hosting the 2020 Take Our Kids to Work Day on Nov. 4. This annual event brings Grade 9 students to York’s campuses for a full day of activities. The students shadow their parents as they go about their daily work responsibilities.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be held online. Zoom sessions with a conference style presentation will be offered to Grade 9 students.
Sessions will include panelists talking about their roles. Participants from a variety of areas at York University will lead the sessions. Each session will include panelists talking about their roles, academic pathways, careers as well as serving to engage students in virtual activities and answer any questions they may have. The schedule for this year’s event will be released soon. Students will be able to sign up online.
