Senate community open forum on Oct. 4 will focus on regaining momentum

Senate

Noting expressions of interest by some senators at York University, the Senate Executive Committee is sponsoring a forum focused on bringing the community together following the labour disruption. The committee would like to hear from scholars, students and staff at this time, to voice reflections and share opinions on regaining institutional momentum and resetting the focus on advancing the University’s academic priorities.

As a result, an open forum has been planned for Oct. 4, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Room 206, Accolade West Building, Keele Campus. The forum will be presided over by the Chair and vice-chair of Senate. Members of the Glendon community who are unable to attend the Keele Campus forum are invited to Room A100, Centre of Excellence, Glendon. The event will also be live streamed.

Live stream details will be shared this week in YFile.
