Update: Notice of electrical service interruption to Lumbers Building, Sherman Harry Crowe Apartments

Please be advised that there will be an electrical service interruption of three minutes or less duration on Friday, Aug. 10 between 7 and 7:30 a.m. impacting the Lumbers Building, and Sherman harry Crowe Apartments. Electrical switching is required from the Steeles Main Substation to the Keele Main Substation source to allow an upcoming repair in the Ross building substation (on Aug. 11).

Emergency power will not be affected by the shutdown.

A second electrical service interruption will take place Aug. 11 and will impact the York Lions Stadium and the Ross Building from 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

After the completion of the work and restoration of the York Lions Stadium and Ross Building, Sherman Harry Crowe Apartments and the Lumbers Building will be switched back to the Steeles Substation source. This is estimated to occur between the hours of 1 and 1:30 p.m. The outages shall last approximately three minutes
