Save the date: Project Benchmark 2018 launch event set for June 7

People walk through Vari Hall, which is located on York U's Keele campus

In preparation for the start of Project Benchmark 2018, respondents and managers are invited to attend the Project Benchmark launch event on Thursday, June 7, from 2:30 to 4pm, in Classroom B, Vari Hall.

The event will provide an overview of the Benchmarking process – a reminder of why York University is undertaking this project, how the information collected will be used, the role primary contact(s) and respondent(s) will play in the UniForum data collection process – and share changes and updates to the 2018 collection process. The event will provide a demonstration using interactive tools on how to access UFAST and allocate time and reporting relationships.

Project Benchmark project team members recognize that this collection is coming at a time when many of the primary contacts and respondents have multiple competing priorities on their plates. Benchmarking is a strategically important initiative that will help the University to identify efficiencies in its service structures and processes and free up resources that can be reallocated to provide a better overall experience for faculty, staff and students.

The launch will be recorded and posted on the Project Benchmark yu link site following the conclusion of the event. More information on Project Benchmark 2018 can be accessed through the yu link site.
