There will be some disruption to pedestrians and vehicular traffic on Sentinel Road from July 4 to 15. The disruption is due to ongoing construction of the Quad Student Housing Community construction, a project led by Forum – Campus Suites (FCS) and the York University Development Corporation (YUDC).
In order to complete road work and landscaping, the sidewalk on the east side of Sentinel Road will be accommodated by a temporary sidewalk in the east lane of Sentinel Road (with a jersey barrier separation). This temporary sidewalk will also be accessible for parking customers.
One lane of Sentinel Road will be closed to vehicular traffic.
The TTC bus stop at the corner of Sentinel Road and The Pond Road will be temporarily relocated further south on Sentinel Road.
Pedestrian and traffic control measures will be on site. While driving through this construction zone, motorists are urged to use extra care and reduce their speed.
