As part of York University’s ongoing commitment to effective emergency notifications systems, new hardware is being installed on each of the LCD screens across the Keele and Glendon campuses.
The installations will take place Feb. 1 to 3, from 7:30am to 4pm.
During this time, there will be intermittent message interruptions and the LCD screens will appear blank. However, in the event of an emergency, the LCD screens will be turned on immediately so that emergency messages can be displayed. Emergency messages will also continue to be communicated through the Public Address system, where available.
Questions or concerns can be directed to Kathy Branton, manager, Office of Emergency Preparedness, Community Safety Department, at 416 206-1010 or at email@example.com.
