York community encouraged to participate in 2016 Transportation Survey

York’s Transportation Services (in collaboration with Smart Commute – North Toronto, Vaughan/Metrolinx) is currently conducting the 2016 Transportation Survey.

York University wants to better understand the commuting travel choices and needs of staff, faculty and students. Your answers to the survey will offer essential travel information that will help further improve campus commuting programs for public transit users, drivers and those using active modes of transportation. Community members will receive an email notification to complete the transportation survey. The survey will take approximately five to 10 minutes to complete.

Once the survey has been completed, respondents will also have an opportunity to enter a draw for a prize of $150 towards your commute options of choice. The winner will be drawn from survey respondents and notified by email in mid-January.

Community members are encouraged to participate by responding to this survey, as it will provide valuable information for continuous improvement; however, it is completely voluntary. Any information you provide by participating in the survey will be kept confidential and secure; however, the data will be shared with Metrolinx to continuously improve transportation options within the Greater Toronto Area.
