Meet York U’s own resident therapy dog Barnaby, the St. John’s Ambulance certified ‘therapist’, when he is available to help students relieve stress beginning April 7.

Barnaby will be hanging out  and meeting with students at the Scott Library Atrium from 1 to 2pm. The session, organized during winter exam period, is sponsored by York University Libraries and Health Education & Promotion.

Barnaby lives on campus with his owner Tammy Douglas, a residence life coordinator at Bethune and Calumet student residences. Aside from providing stress relief to York University community members, he will also visit community centres in Durham region.
